Carl Redwood, Jr. serves on the Hill District Consensus Group as the board chair and is very committed to calling out major human rights inequalities that Black people and others experience beyond— housing, healthcare, education, and earnings. Carl believes that these are the vital human rights of people that policymakers fail to improve as leaders.   Carl is dedicated to uplifting community voices and revealing why capitalism in the United States only sets in motion concentrated poverty, discrimination, and social economic delays in urban communities.
